Education conference 2017: Education as a vehicle for change

6 December 2017

Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, Regents Park, London

UCLPartners education conference 2017 will explore the theme of ‘education as a vehicle for change’.

The aim of the conferencPlenary session 3e is to bring together people from different disciplines and specialties, across different areas of healthcare, to consider how education can drive change. We think that it is important to embrace collaboration and innovation as we try to navigate the ever changing NHS, and we hope that by sharing good practice from local and national examples we can start an interesting conversation about the way forward for education and training.

There will be a variety of talks and workshops to explore innovative approaches to teaching and learning including:

Multiprofessional leadership education

Digital innovation and social media

Leadership in crisis situations

Incorporating patient journeys into education

Interprofessional education – what works and what doesn’t?

A multi-agency approach to patient safety

How can education contribute to the changing structures in health and social care?
